Easter is on its way, which means it’s time to start looking for events the family can enjoy. At MKG3000 we know how difficult that can be, so we’ve collected some of the best bank holiday events in London and Middlesex to help you get started.
First thing’s first: Easter egg hunts. There’s a great hunt in the gardens of Borde Hill, from Saturday March 28th to Sunday April 12th. As delicious as the chocolate reward may be there will also be other attractions, such as giant garden gnomes for adults and children to play with. For an altogether cuter time, you can visit London Wetland Centre between Saturday March 28th and Sunday April 12th. Some of their ducklings have escaped, and there’s a prize for the person who can rescue every last one. The Bank of England Museum has a similar trail between March 30th and April 10th, and there’s a one day special event on Kensington High Street in The Roof Gardens on Sunday April 5th.
For a good time that’s less about chocolate you can visit the Pattern Pod in the Knightsbridge Science Museum, where older children can play and learn at the same time. There’s also Turbine Hall at the Tate Modern, providing a huge and invigorating place for people of all ages to do their own thing. The Hands on Base at Horniman Museum offers lots of tactile fun, with musical instruments and all kinds of crafts.
At MKG3000 we’re always going that little bit extra to help our customers, whether that involves Easter plans or our fantastic range of used cars on finance.
